SEEN any of these TRUCKS near you before?

SEEN any of these TRUCKS near you before?

Did you know how they started?
Well, the first food truck started in 1691, in New Amsterdam (now known as New York City), when the city began regulating street vendors selling food from push carts.Vendors went from selling fruits, peanuts, ice cream, and hot dogs to what we have now, like tacos, sandwiches, and all kinds of cultural food on the street. There are 3 million food trucks and 5 million food carts in the U.S! Street food has been available to Americans for several hundred years, and food trucks have been serving up tasty treats for over two decades!

Sources: History and Mobile Cuisine

Serves creative Chinese-American cuisine made from locally sourced ingredients. Combines simple ingredients from Chinese and American cuisine into something exciting. It is the most creatively delicious Chinese-American street food out there!

"The Double Awesome"  which is two slow poached eggs, VT cheddar, and local pesto on a scallion pancake. A healthy, simple pancake that is very crispy with a taste of pesto; the egg and cheddar just melt in your mouth! It's definitely the go-to snack when I want something satisfying. ~ the BEST !

"Blowtouched Sweet Corn" which is local sweet corn touched with your choice of butter/ham dropping and smoked chicken fat. Sweet corn with some extra meat flavor; no more boring corn with just butter! ~ the BEST !

Roxy's Grilled Cheese
Adding their own twist on a sandwich. They bring grilled cheese to the next level by combining ingredients you never really thought possible!

"Mighty Rib Melt" which is the fontina, braised short ribs with caramelized onions on a buttery grilled cheese. They use toasty bread with butter, but it is not greasy at all. Tons of super melty cheese combined with short ribs is definitely a new way to eat grilled cheese. ~ the BEST !

"Handcut Truffle Fries" which is homemade seasoned french fries. A little salt with rosemary, and their own special seasoning; nothing like any french fry you've tried before. ~ the BEST !

Is bold, fresh and fun Vietnamese cuisine! Bold. Fresh. Fun. That’s what customers say about Bon Me, and we agree! They offer foods that are bright in flavors, full of texture, and seriously playful.

"Sandwich / Rice Bowl / Noodles" with different toppings (Spice-rubbed all natural chicken/ Barbecued Pork/ Organic Tofu with Shiitake Mushroom) and vegetables (pickled carrot and daikon, cucumbers, cilantro, red onion) with homemade spicy mayo and house-made pate.
A crispy, classic French baguette with sweet, perfectly grilled meat that's complimented by the pickled vegetables and herb components. ~ the BEST !

A "Spicy-Ginger Lemonade" drink will give you an extra kick and  get you through this season change. ~ the BEST !

Or  if your not super hungry an try appetizer like the "Deviled" Tea Eggs which are topped with house-made spicy mayo, scallions, and cayenne pepper. The scallions and pepper give extra spiciness, but not too much so you'll still enjoy it even if you're not the biggest fan of spicy food.

Of course, how can you finish a meal without desserts?

Kickass Cupcakes
Their cupcakes are baked from scratch every day in small batches, and use only the best all natural ingredients - no hydrogenated oils, no trans fats, no artificial flavors or preservatives.

Who said you can only have S'mores when you go camping? "S`Mores Cupcake"  is graham crackers with chocolate ganache and a toasted vanilla bean marshmallow. It is nicely charred and the chocolate ganache is heavenly. The graham cracker cupcake is definitely worth a try . ~ the BEST !

"The Mojito cupcake" which is a vanilla cupcake soaked with rum, sugar cane lime frosting and fresh mint. The fresh mint covers the strong taste of the rum. The frosting is sweet and summery, with the combination of smooth and creamy lime that extended into the middle of the cake as filling.
